Halb Techno” with AKA AKA leaned into rave-heavy machinery, “Längst vergessen” — German for “long forgotten” - moves the project into the cinematic, songwriting-driven world of Melodic House & Techno.
At the heart of the track is the voice of Derya Akyol, hovering between longing and quiet acceptance, set against a current of widescreen synths and a hypnotic, late-night groove. The Radio Edit catches the emotional pull in its most direct form, while the Extended Mix lets the song breathe across a slow-building arc made for the deeper hours of the floor. Coming through Cologne’s Bootshaus Music - the label arm of one of Europe’s most respected club brands - “Längst vergessen” stands for both a new home and a new chapter for one of Germany’s most recognisable electronic exports.
